Gov. Sonny Perdue has signed on to HB 143 and legislators will use money from the economic stimulus package to fund the Homeowners Tax Relief Grant:

The legislature some back in session tomorrow at 10am for Day 19. Both chambers are active today with committee meetings (House/Senate).

The Georgia General Assembly comes back in session this morning at 10am. The Senate will reconsider HB 143 and take a up a few other pieces of legislation, including SB 14 (bars registered sex offenders from serving on school boards). You can view the House calender here.
