Wednesday, a group of legislators in the Georgia House introduced a bill that would replace touch screen voting with paper ballots for future elections.

The Senate has passed HR 206 and HB 277. The legislation, sponsored by Rep. Vance Smith, was stripped of it’s original language (a $25 billion statewide sales tax increase) and substituted with the Senate’s version of a transportation funding scheme (a local T-SPLOST).
