On a conference call taking place right now with the House Republican Caucus, Glenn Richardson is resigning as Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Despite what WSB-TV and Insider Advantage reported yesterday, Glenn Richardson has not stepped down as Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives. Everyone I’ve talked to is expecting it, likely in the next couple days.

Via Insider Advantage, WSB-TV is reporting that Glenn Richardson will resign as Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives.
