Nightmare ends on Thursday, April 29th

The House finally passed an adornment resolution this morning setting the final days of the session:
The House set a calendar Wednesday morning for the final four days, which puts lawmakers last day on April 29 and in the middle of election qualifying.

Updated calendar released, Crossover Day set for March 25th

According to the AJC, the calendar has been set through Day 30, known as Crossover Day (in black below). That is the last day for a piece of legislation to clear one body to be considered for this year.

2010 General Session Calendar

According to a resolution passed today by the House, here is the schedule for the general session for the next few weeks, until March 2nd, taking us to Day 24. What I’ve heard today from several people is it’s looking like the session could drag out to mid-April because of due the budget.
