Qualifying for the July 20th party primaries begins this morning and will run until Thursday, April 29th at 5pm.

The House passed the 2011 budget by a vote of 120 to 52.
According to Rep. Steve Davis (R-McDonough), via Twitter, Rep. David Lucas (D-Macon) proposed an amendment to fund the halls of fame in Macon. It failed, 62 to 107. Rep. Bobby Franklin (R-Marietta) proposed an amendment to abolish the Department of Human Services. It also failed, by 4 to 165.
