A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions concerning the ad valorem taxation of property, so as to provide for annual hearings on property taxes by county and municipal governing authorities and independent school systems; to provide for the timing of such hearings; to provide for the advertisement of such hearings; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
