A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend various titles of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated so as to combine the Department of Human Resources and the Department of Community Health into the Department of Health; to make global name changes for the department, commissioner, and board of human resources; to make global name changes for the department, commissioner, and board of community health; to amend delayed Code sections to reflect the revised names; to change provisions for conformity purposes; to establish the Department of Health and provide for transition; to provide for effective dates; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
